To Go or Not to Go... that is what is on my mind
This Saturday is my 20th high school reunion and I still can not decide if I want to go or not. There was suppose to be a casual Friday night event at a local tavern that I was going to crash, but that has been cancelled. Now there is an un-official Friday event in the works, but it sounds like two different people are planning it in two different places. So... did you go to yours? What do you think? Should I go or skip it??

Ask yourself these questions:
1) Are you on Facebook?
2) Do you chat with people from high school?
If you answered "yes" to either or both of those questions, you don't need to go. Hang out with the people you're still friends with when you can all get together.
Or it depends on how close it is. My last reunion was 4 states away. Too long to drive, too much to fly. Plus, I chat online with the few people I could stand back in high school, so there was no need. Anyone I cared about enough, we stayed friends. My .02 anyway.
I'm not a great one to ask, because I have no intention of going to my 20 year reunion. I lost touch with everyone from my grad class pretty much right after graduation. But my Beloved really values his reunions... he goes every five years. He loves it.
I'm sure this doesn't help you at all... just my input. I guess the real question is will you regret it if you don't go?
Went to mine and had a great time. I strongly encourage you to go. Heck, think of it as a "networking opportunity." (Just don't act like that's the only reason you're there!)
It's not what you know, it's who you know.
I didn't go... long story but, no, I didn't go :):):):):)
As you know, I went to my 10th but couldn't make it to my 20th. I absolutely plan on making it to my 30th though because looking at all the pictures of the 20th reunion I missed on FB the next day made me feel kinda bummed out.
Hmmmm. I was thinking the same thing. Mine's coming up as well. I continue to surrond myself with those people who have been positive contributions to my life. They are still around and we have been friends for over 20 years. Who the H*LL do I wanna talk to and spend time with otherwise? They did not graduate the same year. My former best friend is just that...former. That's what Facebook is for only cheaper. You don't have to spend money on food/drinks, clothes and you don't have to be uncomfortable because you don't remember people (my fear). Okay, Ive just made my decision. I'm staying home on my 20th reunion! Ha ha!
So did you go? Wait, was that last Saturday or this coming? lol
