I have a couple interviews, but still NOTHING... unemployment runs out next month so I am a lil worried.

Summer Time
Being a native of the Pacific Northwest, I am NOT a person who likes heat. Once the temps reach about 65 degrees I am a happy camper, but when the temperature rises and hits 70+ I am looking for any place to stay cool. Currently outside my door, it's 78 degrees, but out there in that BLASTING sun... I'm guessing it's about 80!! Phew! I had some yardwork I wanted to accomplish today and I KNEW once the temps rose I was going to be in trouble, so I got outside at 8AM and started my work...I hauled 7 50lb bags of rock to my backyard to fill in some areas along our house. Here is my favorite of the areas I created today, my newly "planted" Alice in Wonderland Rock Garden. My Brother gave me the Alice stepping stones several years ago from the Disney Store and I believe my hubby's aunt gave me the little statue....

I'm with you when it comes to temperatures ....I have spent most of my life moaning that its too hot or depressingly over cast...cold doesnt bother me unless its below freezing ....but my happiest window is 60-70 degrees and sunny not muggy.
In Scotland, where i live now, it rarely goes above 70.
I wish you luck with the job hunting ...not an easy time for you.
Oh geez, don't come here anytime soon! We're just getting into the swing of Summer heat and gross humidity. YUCK! I just love your Alice garden! I'll be praying you hear something about a job soon, girl!
Yeah, it's been routinely hot like the devil's armpit around here lately. I kinda like it though. Still, no matter how much sunblock I slather on, I still keep getting more and more freckles. I'm kinda starting to hope I get so many freckles that they all blend together and--viola--I'll have a real tan for the first time in my life.
